New cornerback
Evan Oglesby got the shocking call from Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome that he was cut while he was on the subway in New York. He was taking a few days off given to the players.

A day later, the Cowboys called. Oglesby (5-10, 185) played 16 games with the Ravens last season as the No. 3 cornerback. He credits learning a lot from linebacker Ray Lewis and safety Ed Reed.

``I'm here to help,'' Oglesby said. ``I am one of those players you can depend on.''

Why aren't more people giving this move a thumbs-up?

Every time you look around, people are talking about the greatness of the Ravens D. Well, Oglesby played in all 16 games for them last year. I bet at this point, he's just as good as Glenn.
