New CBS mock

Barring an open criminal investigation, you go get Derrick Brown if he drops that low.

LOL, I didn't even realize Trapasso had him sliding to 15.

I think he is so overrated from a value standpoint.

This is not a pressure player.. This is a control the LOS kind of player.

As good as he is at what he does I don't see what he does as being worthy of a top 15 pick.

Kinlaw > Derrick Brown all day. Brown might be a "safer" choice but give me the guy that has potential to be an elite pressure player vs a guy who might hold up a blocker or take on a double team vs the run slightly better.
I would take either one. Hope Kinlaw knees are ok.

To me the question is the knee issue
If it’s not an issue then he won’t be there
If it is an issue you better be right about your medical check
This is the Cowboys we are talking about. The more knee issues the better. Paging Dr. Jones......

That "some" would be a minority. We also have a need for a legitimate 3 Tech that can wreck havoc from the interior. This draft is deeper in CBs than those kind of DTs.
And you also have a very thick FA class of dts and freed up money

I think it’s unlikely they spend a ton in FA on a stud 3T talent.

If Kinlaw is on the board at 17 and they go CB like Henderson, wooo boy.

Im just saying the CB class is way thin in FA. And over priced or old. You wont over pay for a Quintan Jefferson and a A'Shawn Jefferson.
Both could be had for a decent amount.
Of course you would have to move Crawford out or a significant pay cut.
Get those two guys in here and you would be solid up the middle.
Bring back Quinn and let the DEs eat.

You need secondary badly.
Your othee half will be FAs next year then your gonna be in trouble

It's puzzling that people look at the defense and act like the DL is fine and it's only the secondary that has major questions. Go through the DL depth chart and try to convince yourself it's in good shape.

You have Lawrence at DE. You have Armstrong at DE. You have Crawford as a swing guy but frankly he might get cut for cap purposes and he's a bit player at this point. What else do you have at DL, and specifically at DT? Collins is a FA. Covington? He's not likely back. Woods? Nice player but a backup type. Hill? LOL.

FA isn't dripping with elite DTs either. And the draft isn't deep in top flight DTs beyond Brown and Kinlaw. But the draft is deep in CBs.

This franchise has ignored DT for years until last year when they used their highest pick on a total reach. If they like Kinlaw and he's on the board at 17 and they take a CB instead, that's a puzzling move.

That's b/c the best FA 3T is Maliek Collins.

And that's why it puzzles me that people act like our DL is just fine currently and FA is flooded with impact DL.

It's not. Kinlaw won't be there but my god, if he's there and we take a CB, geezus.

I just do not see this mock draft as realistic at all. Kinlaw is not going to get to 17 and Brown is not going to drop that far either. But, every year there is a surprise pick that changes the entire board. I would love Brown to drop into the mid teens because that makes it more likely that Kinlaw will make it to 17. But I doubt it!

If Kinlaw drops to 17 the pick is a no brainer.

Does he have Taco's *** attitude?
He has Tacos producion... u don't draft a player in the 1st round as a project...u NEED a starter...if u cant get sacks in college What makes u think he will in the NFL

The sensor cut out two key words of my post. We will say Taco's bad attitude like when Haley tried to help him with pass rush technique and he disrespectfully declined.
