Whoever the new coach is better have in his contract he has a big say in player personnel. If he doesnt, he's just another yes man collecting a paycheck and hoping for the best.

I hate to break it to you but about a month ago they were doing an interview with Mike McCarthy and his comment was he has far more control over this roster than at any time in Green Bay I know people wanna make up narratives like Jerry doesn't let his head coaches do what they want hire their personnel but they actually do Mike Nolan and Mike McCarthy as an offensive coordinator were hired by Mike McCarthy and both of them were failures Dan Quinn that was Jerry which was better Nolan or Quinn which was better kelen Moore or Mike McCarthy??

If that's hard for you guys to see because you can't let go of the narrative that you hate Jerry so much you think he doesn't allow his coaching Staffs especially his head coach but he allows them all even in the draft and they have input that's a bad narrative he literally said that Mike McCarthy said he had more control over the roster here in Green Bay let that sink in that came right out of the man's mouth he didn't have a problem with that he and Jerry worked fine on the roster..

You mean the guy that was about to begin negotiating a contract extension said good things about his boss to the media? I am shocked....

Did you just wake up from a 30 year coma or something?

The only eligible HC candidates for the Cowboys are the ones that know better than to ask for player personnel power.

The new HC won't even have the authority to hire his own coaches.
