New coaches and execution?

I think the only thing that has to drastically change is.... winning in the trenches... both sides of the ball.... win the battle on the o-line... win the battles on d-line..... this team is good enough with just that improvement.

ps. get TO the ball, less INT's by Romo, TO catch the ball instead of dropping it, be less careless with ball(Romo), Jones not running up peoples butt's... etc...

I'm against executing the coaches until we see how they do. If they stink by Thanksgiving, then let 'em swing.

At what point are the players responsible? No doubt coaches make a difference but players still play the game and it is up to them to go out and execute

To win a Superbowl, its not an easy task. It takes a combination of good coaching, playing and FO to get the job done.

There are exceptions like Barry Switzer and George Seifert who both ran on the coatails of there previous coach, but in general you need both coaching and players.

I agree and I think the coaching is critical but players still play the game and the coach can't go out there and make plays for them.

Ummm, I was just making a joke. :D

If the players stink then execute them as well, unless we can get a draft pick for them, otherwise......

(See, another joke. You didn't take me seriously did you?)

Sorry, it is hard to know when people are joking around here sometimes. On a side not I did hear a coach once say when asked how he felt about his offensive execution and he said he was in favor of it. :lmao:

I think that was Jim McKay of the Bucs. He had some good ones.

He also said one time, when asked what he thought of the game "we did a poor job of blocking, but we made up for it by not tackling."

He was a hoot to listen to. I wished there were more like him and Bum Phillips today. Even if you didn't like their teams, you couldn't help but love the coach.
