New coaching staff, new mentality and new culture

BS is the wrong guy for the HC job. I hope we aren't stuck with him beyond this one season.
Man, I'll be honest. I'm a skeptic with all these coaches. I wish we'd stick with Quinn or Moore.

Even with McCarthy here, they were the more valuable coaches in the building.

Shotty just sort of rambles. I don't see him giving any direction, per se. McClay is the only one who wields any real power. And that's only when McClay has Jerral reined in on draft day.

Schottenheimer is a self-admitted disciple of Mike McCarthy. They were close. In fact, McCarthy brought him to Dallas.

No, Jerry is the same and they hired a guy who was already a disciple of the previous culture. Lipstick on a pig.
Ugh. You are probably right. Just hope Schotty is young enough to actually try in his job and not just be happy to "have it", like the other FF's...you know what i mean there.

I choose to be positive on this season until I have a reason not to be.
I feel like we are making a concentrated effort to change the culture by way of getting players that actually like playing football and value winning a Super bowl

Guys that were previous team captains with high character.

I'm also a big fan of the run game and it looks like we are committed to that and I think it gives us good football to watch when we have a good running game and also covers our quarterbacks flaws to some degree.
It also helps keep our defense that has not been properly addressed at the defensive tackle position off the field.

The coaching staff it's a total? But I'm not going to bash it until I see it in action.
Hey if we just get the penalty situation under control I'll consider that a big step in the right direction .
Just the fact that we've gotten a lot of guys back from injury should help us be more successful then last year.

All that said we are still in the same division with the Super bowl champion and the teams that played in the NFC championship game so there's no easy road here and I believe it's definitely going to take at least another draft to properly address the defense.

But we certainly have some things to look forward to like seeing if our new running back is really the Blue streak and can light it up with this revamped offensive line.

Can DAk get back to form maybe get us 10 wins and we squeak into the playoffs.
If not no big deal we concentrate on a good defensive draft next year it's all good Rome wasn't built in a day

This new mentality, new culture crap is merely RKG BS circling back. It’s meaningless, at least to me.
