New Dexter starts tonight...also new season of Homeland starts right after dexter.

On another note, like Yaeger said, Sundays are getting really serious. Sunday Night Football, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, Homeland, the Walking Dead will be here soon. Thank God It's Always Sunny isn't on Sunday or I might actually feel a little overwhelmed.

I really hope that doesn't last very long.

Yes, season 5 just needs to be erased from memory. Season 6 was forgettable.

Season 6 could have been much better but overall Colin Hanks was a decent villain. Let's face it though - nothing will ever compare to the Trinity Killer or the Ice Truck Killer.

I really don't like the writers for this show, they are so sloppy. Create one dramatic situation, end it instantly, move on. It's getting soap operaish at points.
When did Dexter become such an idiot that he would try to kill a high profile (in relation to himself) target AFTER he was told he was under suspicion of being a killer?
And I'm in the belief that Deb set Hannah up, and Hannah is not responsible for Debs accident/overdose. I mean, they *DID* put in the throw away line of "I would do ANYTHING to protect Dexter from you".
Just seems out of character for her, I mean honestly..
But then again, these are the same writers who think you can't survive a gunshot wound to the stomach if "The bullet is still inside", even if you go to the hospital immediately, and the wound untreated didn't kill you within like 6 hours.

So much potential for this season, and I still think it's decent (compared to recent ones) overall, but these constant lapses in writing ability drive me insane. I feel like they can't even keep their own characters consistent, and just create random scenarios to make drama.
