It’s crazy to think we would probably draft the same player at 4. The Cowboys can go in many directions defensively. I think the Eagles might take an offensive linemen.

Mocks in the top ten are really all over the place. The difference between the #4 and the #9 may not be a huge gulf.

Overall, this isn't a relatively strong draft at it's face. Lawrence and Sewell are the prizes here and there's no doubt some enticing QB prospects, but no super-blue chippers on defense (a Chase Young for example). Guys like Parsons and Farley that opted out are real wild cards - they've obviously stayed healthy, but lost a lot of good (or bad) game film. Same could be said for Sewell but think he's in a stronger position.

I think we will come away with a good player no doubt, but equally as important is walking away with guys in Rounds 2/3 that can start.

I really hope we at least pick before the Eagles.
I can see them screwing us because of the Cee Dee Lamb pick.

I think you may be right. Help hurts and the offense. Makes sense.

we’ll find out next week if we move up a few spots or down after the philly game

Philadelphia is a bad matchup for us with Hurts and their defensive line. This will actually be a true test for how much we have improved. Nolan can actually attempt to save his job. Although the decision has probably been made.

Their whole secondary is banged up, which could be a big advantage for our passing offense.

We still don’t protect the quarterback long enough. I really want Dalton to sling it. 2 catches for 10 yards for Cooper is terrible. Andy is dink and dunker.
