New England proving its players over coaching

And Tampa Bay is giving undefeated Green Bay a beatdown.

It’s all about the QB.
And they’re up in large part to 2 INTs by Rodgers. Those weren’t coached into the play calls. Shows even the best play calls don’t matter when they’re not executed.

This is the first time since 2002 that New England has a losing record in October. Not sure what that proves.

Well if you have below average talent, coaching can't save that. Coaching can elevate average talent though. Definitely need good coaching to win a chip.

This team knows more than anyone about what subpar coaching does to a talented team.

I missed the two picks because I had to take an emergency massive dump! But I noticed from when it was 14-10 Rodgers had very little time in the pocket. And on many occasions absolutely no time before getting sacked. And Sacks are usually drive enders. Was his two picks pressure related?

NE has barely been able to practice because of Covid.

Belichick is the best of all time. Tom Brady is also the best of all time. When you replace Brady with Cam Newton it is a downgrade. A massive downgrade. To think NE would just march on is pure stupidity.

Because so many people think Brady is a "system" QB and it was all Bill. Could not be the furthest thing from the truth.

Practice? Lmao. Practice is pointless in the NFL these days. They aren't losing because of practice. Cam is not a good QB and they just aren't a good team.

It's ironic that a guy with Parcells as his avatar created this thread. Parcells took pretty much the same team that went 5-11 three season in a row under Campo to the playoffs his first year. He did similar type of thing with the Jets.

BTW, it's not one or the other but both. You can have great players but still suck because the coaches don't know how to get the best out of them. And vise-verse.

Jason Garrett cost us at least two games every season due to clock mismanagement/ no ability to adjust. Of course the players have to execute, but coaching matters.

Coaching matters when you have enough talent. And how a HC like Jimmy goes 1-15 or Landry 3-13.

Yes, one of the best Cowboys coaching jobs this era in 2003. But it wasn’t exactly the same team. They had a new Rookie QB. And a good draft with Witten and Newman.

But Parcells resurrected us from the 5-11 funk. But still couldn’t overcome the biggest hurdle of Cowboys football this era. The Dr of Death. Jethro Jone$.

New rookie QB? Quincy Carter was here for two years and started 15 games before 2003. Unless you mean someone else?

It was a good coaching job no doubt.

That’s not really a verifiable stat.
