15. Dallas Cowboys (6-6-1)

Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

The Cowboys have needs on multiple levels of their defense, which is allowing the second-most points per game this season (29.7). They could address linebacker first with Styles, who has made the impressive transition to the position after beginning his collegiate career at safety. He has outstanding length, movement skills and range at the second level. And on top of the coverage skills from his time at safety, Styles can be an effective blitzer when called upon; he had 6.0 sacks during Ohio State's national title run last season. Styles could thrive in any defensive circumstance for the Cowboys, who just boosted their linebacker room with the return DeMarvion Overshown and addition of Logan Wilson.

28. Dallas Cowboys (via 9-3-1 GB)

Damon Wilson II, Edge, Missouri*

The defensive investment would continue for the Cowboys here via Wilson, who broke out in 2025 after transferring from Georgia. His 9.0 sacks with the Tigers nearly tripled his 3.5 sacks over the first two seasons of his collegiate career. Wilson has very good length, first-step quickness and torque to bend the edge. He also brought it in big games this season, with four sacks against teams ranked in the top 10. After shoring up their interior defensive line by trading for Quinnen Williams, Wilson could be a game changer on the edge for the Cowboys.

Could get behind Styles at 15 but Wilson is not a 1st rounder IMO.
I would never touch an edge rusher in the first unless he got double digit sacks in college at the highest level of competition

IMO, Wilson is a 2nd or 3rd round player. He looks awfully raw to me for a guy who's been at UGA and Missouri, 2 places who do a good job with DL.

Styles is a solid player, but benefits from playing with 2 top 10 players on the same D, and if the draft fell this way, Howell & Lemon are superior players they'd be passing on.

I’m all in Damon Wilson.9 sacks and 34 inch arms. A true DE. Not sure Styles goes that high. It could be a CB or tackle that falls.

Bailey and Howell have shorter arms.

Would be excited if the draft fell this way. Both picks are solid but I like Missouri's other DE Zion Young a little more. Every Tiger's game I've watched his play always grabbed my attention, this guy is active around the football.

Bailey has short arms? Everything I've read indicates the opposite of that.

I usually don't pay attention to that sort of thing, but It's said Howell has unusually short arms. Certainly something to keep an eye on.

I think 32 in on Bailey. Howell 30.5
I would surprised but Damon at 34 can hold the edge. Unless they switch to 3-4, they may prefer it

It's about they got with the program LB first, DE second. Nailed it!

Just curious what do consider the highest level of competition? Are you talking power 5 conferences? The reason why is DeMarcus Ware played at Troy University which is not a power 5 conference school but he did have 27.5 sacks in college career

No...everything Ive read has said 34 inches for Bailey.

Howell? Yea gator arms.

I'm the same way. Not necessarily double digit sacks but I never expect a player to do in the pros what he hasn't done in college.

It's not foolproof though. You'd have missed out on Micah Parsons that way but you also avoid a whole lot of busts too.

i would've prefered georgia's cj allen...but i'm a fan of styles also.
for some reason i can't see who was on the board for our 2nd first round pick....but mizzou has been putting out alot of pro's over the years...they usually are solid players.
i just wish i could see who else was available.
