I didn't slight Jeff Lynne...although "Don't Bring Me Down" is a pretty awful song...BUT I loved his stuff with The Wilburys...and some of the other ELO stuff.

Sometimes a song does not have to have great lyrics or even a great or complicated arrangement.

Sometimes a song can be simple and even silly but it is just fun.

That song was one of those songs.

I still like it.

Plus it is much better than Freebird.:D
