As a staff, we much prefer having a more hands off approach when moderating. Some might beg to differ, but this is true.

So because of that and a variety of reasons, moderators have to take a more active role in the forums to keep the discussions civil. We're fans before moderators and it had gotten to the point where civil discussions were an anomaly rather than the norm.

So this is to officially announce that the infraction changes discussed by Reality a few weeks ago have been implemented and the staff will now apply these standards going forward.

The new system will work as follows:
  • If a user violates the Forum Rules and has not received a suspension in the last 6 months, the user's account will be suspended for one (1) day.
  • If a user violates the Forum Rules and their account was last suspended for 1 day in the last 6 months, the user's account will be suspended for three (3) days.
  • If a user violates the Forum Rules and their account was last suspended for 3 days in the last 6 months, the user's account will be suspended for seven (7) days.
  • If a user violates the Forum Rules and their account was last suspended for 7 days in the last 6 months, the user's account will be suspended for thirty (30) days.
  • If a user violates the Forum Rules and their account was last suspended for 30 days in the last 6 months, the user's account will be banned permanently.
** Accounts can still be banned at any time for serious rule violations. **

Your 6 months starts from the date of your last infraction. So if you get a 1-day suspension and then receive no infractions for 6+ months, your next infraction would start back at a 1-day suspension again.

As a reminder, any result in your account getting benched will be because of your user history in the infraction system. If you happen to get an infraction and it has not been reversed, then that means ALL the staff agrees with the infraction.

So please, please, PLEASE re-read the rules. It'll be in your best interest.
