I admire their not putting a roof on it, though. Football should be played outdoors.

I agree. I'm called old school but I don't see anything wrong with the talent on the field determining the outcome of the game over trying to overcome the elements espeically in the biggest game of them all. I think too many build up the ice bowl as a great game and the fact is it was not a great game. You had two of the best teams in the NFL at the time and they were trying to beat the weather more than each other. Guys could hardly move on the field and constantly were falling down so neither team could really run the offense that they were capable of. It was no doubt an historical game because the weather was so brutal but as far as the play there was nothing great about it.

completely, 100% agree, I might even go as far as to say that I would prefer their new stadium to ours for that very reason , but not sure about that...ours looks great just not crazy about the roof

I think our is 1 Bil but it won't be near as nice as ours because it's ours.
