If we trade next years first, I will be pissed but I do like the picks.

I've been told be expert net scouts that this is the deepest draft ever and next year's is going to suck. Especially since our first will be #32.

Don't worry about it.

very valid point 'realist'....very valid. man, that's tempting...especially for wheeler dealer JJ....

I would do that and Trade Bennett for one of NE's 2nd Round Picks

Then

Rodger Saffold, Indiana
Height: 6-5. Weight: 313.
Projected 40 Time: 5.13.
Combine 40 Time: 5.22.
Benchx225: 27. Arm: 33 5/8.
Projected Round (2010): 1-2.

Nate Allen, FS, South Florida
Height: 6-1. Weight: 205.
Projected 40 Time: 4.47.
Projected Round (2010): 2.
1/14/10: One of the more underrated prospects in this class, Nate Allen garnered 85 tackles, four interceptions and four pass deflections in 2009.

OR

Morgan Burnett, FS, Georgia Tech
Height: 6-1. Weight: 209.
Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.42.
Benchx225: 16. Vertical: 39.5.
Projected Round (2009): 2.

Vladimir Ducasse, UMass
Height: 6-5. Weight: 336.
Projected 40 Time: 5.40.
Projected Round (2009): 2-3.
1/17/10: Has played guard and right tackle at UMass, and had 24 career starts going into his senior year. Was voted as a Division 1-AA First-Team All-American. Received a Combine invite.

4th Round

Jerome Murphy, South Florida
Height: 6-0. Weight: 196.
Projected 40 Time: 4.51.
Combine 40 Time: 4.52.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.51.
Benchx225: 16. Vertical: .
Projected Round (2010): 3-4.

Brandon Spikes, ILB Florida
Height: 6-3. Weight: 256.
Projected 40 Time: 4.74.
Projected Round (2009): 2-3.
1/8/10: Brandon Spikes made a huge mistake by returning to school for his senior year. Some of his flaws were exposed, and it's looking like he'll need a help to be drafted in the first round. Spikes had 68 tackles and six TFL in 2009.

6th Round

Erik Cook, C New Mexico
Height: 6-6. Weight: 315.
Projected 40 Time: 5.30.
Projected Round (2009): 6-7.
1/17/10: Brother of NFLer Ryan Cook, Eric was an All-Mountain West first-teamer as a senior. Surrendered just one sack all year.

7th Round

Kade Weston, NT Georgia
Height: 6-5. Weight: 320.
Projected 40 Time: 5.05.
Projected Round (2010): 7-FA.
1/24/10: Solid numbers for a nose tackle: 28 tackles, six TFL and two sacks

This is the year

If we need a guard to replace Kosier....

1) We're better off with a guy with a first round grade.

2) Get one with elite LT athleticism.

3) Get him this year to train in our offense and in our strength and conditioning program.

I'd rather have all that this year in Saffold vs waiting for an unknown rookie next year.

Sorry man your wrong ive spoken to Walter C. And Matt McGuire both believe next year will be as deep if not deeper than this year.

Id rather trade down and grab a 1st next year.
