I'm saying that you referenced intellect and showed your lack of it by using the wrong word.

Does that make this more clear to you?
I'm a teacher, graduated college with honors, got into law school, im no genius, but I do ok. If you think the misuse of a word is some measuring stick of intellect, uhm......I don't think I need to say more.

By the way, just looked up a little bit ofv harsher on the word in question, and it appears both could be used.

Who ever came up with this Ad should be fired immediately

This is how you open up a big game NBC by the great Pat Sommerall

I like it better than the freaking TO popcorn junk, but it's outdated too.

The answer is none of the above. All that history, and popcorn is the best they could do?

I’m sure that commercial has inflated TO’s ego even more.

Why shouldn't he have and ego?? He's arguably the second, third greatest receiver in NFL history coming from an HBCU and drafted like on the third or fourth day (late rounds.

All he did was stay in shape and ball the hell out.

How many other players, especially quarterbacks had huge egos and were TRASH and busts???

Let that man be great. He deserves to have an ego as big as he wants to.

His ego kept him from being a first ballot Hall of Famer. He wasn’t a team player he was all about himself. He threw several of his QBs under the bus and Philly kicked him off the team. The Cowboys moved on from him after three seasons, because he was all about himself. As TO said once “I want me some me.”

You said he wasn't a team player.... yet he risked his own health by playing in a Superbowl with a fractured leg and put up MVP numbers.

He never had any off the field issues, troubles with the law or anything. All he did was ball out.

It wasn't his ego that kept him from being a first ballot HOFer, it was the weak *** mindset of some idiots on the Hall of Fame committee. His NUMBERS proved he was a first ballot HOFer and I'm glad he did his HOF speech elsewhere.

Hall of Fame inductions supposed to be based upon ON-FIELD PRODUCTION.... I didn't know the Hall of Fame had and "ego" category. If that's the case, Aaron Rodgers should get in after waiting the same amount of time Owen's had to wait.

Now sit here and tell me Rodgers doesn't have a huge ego....

A lot of players risk their health to play in the Super Bowl. If you go back and look at interviews with him after that Super Bowl, you would’ve thought Philly had won because he was gloating over his own performance. He played a great game, and that seemed to be all he was concerned about. His ego and ME attitude, caused a lot of people not to like him, which is why he wasn’t a first ballot Hall of Famer. Aaron Rodgers has a huge ego but he’s still a team player. He’s about winning. His ego never got him kicked off a team. TO kept bouncing around the league because he kept wearing out his welcome. No team could put up with his crap for very long. Never seen a receiver throw QBs under the bus like he did. He was a selfish self-centered player.

I can't disagree with you about how he treated some quarterbacks. But I'll take TO over just about every receiver, outside of Moss, Rice, Irvin and Megatron and a handful of others.

No doubt he’s one of the all-time great WRs. He’s ranked ahead of Michael Irvin in all the all the time rankings. The big problem with TO was once he established himself as a great WR in 2000 and Jerry Rice moved on to Oakland the following year he became outlandish and outspoken. He felt with Jerry Rice gone he was King of the Hill. He started becoming full of himself. He ignited a big feud between him and Jeff Garcia, who became the 49ers QB after Steve Young, retired. TO questioned Garcia‘s ability and his sexuality. He started trouble with the 49ers who attempted to trade him. We finally ended up in Philadelphia. Everything seemed great until he started his crap with Donovan McNabb and he wanted more money. He refused to practice, and Andy Reid got tired of his BS and told him to go home. He was released a few days later. He didn’t even show up for his Hall of Fame induction because he was mad he wasn’t elected on the first ballot. I don’t need to go on we all know TO’s history.
