1: they moved the Goal line back 2' and moved the Blue line out 2'. Creating more room in the offensive zone. And fewer offsides.
2: Eliminated the 2 line pass. The Redline is now only for icing. Should one catch a defensman napping, this could create more break aways.
3: The Goalies now have a "triangle" behind the net where they can play the puck. If they play the puck outside of it...it's a 2 minute minor.
I plan on giving NHL Hockey a shot this year.
