The helmets are stupid. Stick with the classic helmet look and these uniforms would look alright.

Yup.

I can't believe how they completely and utterly missed the boat on the helmets. In fact, most of the time when I hear about Notre Dame, I hear teenagers say how they really like their helmets.

That's just poor market research.

They did a uniform for Texas last year, but did not go over the top with it. I think the school still has some input into what the uniform looks like.

they just changed up the practice uniforms. I know nike makes texas' uni's but they haven't changed their game day design pretty much ever.

they can make their practice stuff as ugly as they want (see this year's version for some really ugly ones) just as long as they don't mess with game day version.
