I gotta admit, when the Boys were 8-5 going into the New Orleans game (coming off of back-to-back losses to the Gnats and Chargers), I was hoping for the best and I will say that I did have a little bit of confidence that they could beat the undefeated Saints (I wish I could say I had more confidence, but I really just had hope...) My heart had no doubt that they could win, but my head did not see it that way. At the time, I was still on the "Let's get Wade out of here on the first thing smoking" campaign...still not sure if he's the longterm answer, but for the moment the coaching staff is doing an amazing job...but I digress...when I heard Tony say it is "Us against the world", it did inspire a little more confidence/hope, but it still felt like an incredible long-shot. Now in retrospect, it seems obvious that the 'Boys relish the "us against the world" role...with that being said, the more pundits that pick the Vikes, the better. Heck, I may log onto every poll I can find and vote for the Vikes just to do my part to boost the numbers. I wish the polls were 80%+ in favor of the Vikes. I love it when the 'Boys are dismissed and pissed...they seem to rise up. It concerns me most when they are heavily favored. So ESPN. ESPN News, ESPN Radio, FOX, NFL Network, and on and on....PLEASE KEEP PICKING THE FREAKIN' VIKES TO WIN!!!
