New penalties -- Against other teams

As happens every year, the Competition Committee is considering some proposed rules changes at the Owners Meetings in Florida. In the past, we've seen rules implemented that specifically target actions taken on the field by Cowboys players. We have the infamous Roy Williams Horse Collar Rule, the Michael Irvin Offensive Interference crack down, and now the Committee is rumored to be considering a "no stiff arm" rule which can only be explained as targeting Marion Barber... There have been others aimed at the Cowboys, that I can't remember off the top of my head.

So I figured we could start a petition with other penalties that should be considered by the committee which target other teams and their players.... I'll start.

1) Anyone seen vomiting on the field will be taken out of the game for at least one play, and his team will be assessed a 15 yard penalty and loss of down, for the sheer embarrassment.

Impersonating a QB will have the player ejected immediately and his team penalized 15 yards. ~ Jason Campbell Rule

I've been waiting for some rule against the "Stiff Arm." Even though it's always been allowed, Barber used it a LOT this year, and was pretty nasty with it. I didn't expect the League to allow the offensive players the ability to grab a defender's facemask when the defender cannot do the same. I see where they're coming from, but I don't have to like it. At least it gives Barber the offseason to figure out a new move.:D

The Hair Rule seems aimed at Troy P and Al Harris.
That could be a Barber rule too.

The only thing is that is a superficial uniform rule. They don't gain a competitive advantage by having their hair hang out of their helmet. The NFL doesn't like it when the Cowboys get any competitive advantage.

The Salary Cap comes to mind.

That is a great point. Making them cut their hair would not affect their ability to perform, unless they were like Sampson.

Here's some irony...remember that play against New England (I don't think I have to specify). MB3 used zero stiffarms, it was all balance and blocking.

Though...this has to be a joke...how can you ban the stiff arm to the face? Trying to stiff arm any other part of the body would put you closer to the defender and likely mean a tackle...hmm hehe

First of all, what play was that, specifically?;)

Second, your right. Not being able to stiff arm to the face negates the stiff arm's effectiviness greatly. If you try to stiff arm the chest, it just gives the opponent a better chance to grab you. We desperately need a smilie that consists of beating Goodell or something. Some of the rule changes are good, but some are down right
