I miss Terry Glenn. I don't think he ever truly got the recognition he deserved. If Williams is as productive as Glenn (with size), we hit the jackpot.
 
I wouldn't have minded seeing 80 and 88 again either. And there's not a single thing wrong with remembering our past fondly. That is where all of our Super Bowls exist.

How does this process work anyway? Are the numbers assigned by the Cowboys ala Dez with 88? These kids haven't even had a chance to look at the roster to see what's available.

team give these numbers for the players. when they make the roster if there is a number they like some of them get to switch then.
