Dear Miss HOT ROD, I'm trying to find out about a car in the movie Cobra with Sylvester Stallone. What's the year, make, and model of the car he drives?

Hey Eddie, while that was a really cheesy, bad movie, the car was awesome! It's a fully customized '50 Mercury (or Merc as we call them). I don't know who built the car or any of it's specifics, but we just watched that movie for a story you'll see in the February issue, and there's a scene that shows the speedometer at 80 mph and the tachometer at 8,400 rpm. And then Stallone hits the nitrous!

I would be first in line for Cobra 2. Cobra was the funniest movie I've ever seen, even funnier than the 2nd & 3rd Rambo movies.
