If the Cowboys are trailing by 14 points or less with less than 2 minutes to go in the game and then score... They get the ball back with a chance to tie or win.

That works both ways though

the XFL has actually perfected the kickoff and 4th and 20 (4th and 15 would be better) should be in play the onsides kick is dead and of no more use
hate the onside kick attempts and glad the chances are slim, so obviously I hate anything that makes it easier on teams. teams need to win the game during the game so that they don't need to score 30 points in the last two minutes. Hate the 4th and whatever idea of any kind.

#4 is an obvious great idea. need to open up the allowances for hitting QBs because they do play the game and with pads. Right now you basically cannot hit them anywhere but stomach without incurring a game altering penalty. they should allow them to be challenged to see intent of defender and penalize accordingly but allowing for incidental hits/forward momentum inertia with no intent of tackling beyond what is legal

please no more changes to OT rules..... I get the whole give us a chance to match the FG because that is only a matter of getting to 40 yardline for some kickers, but come on now - if a defense cannot keep a team out of endzone, then thats the game period.

So one team outplays the other team for almost 60 minutes, but we want to make it even easier for the losing team to win. Why? How is that fair to the team that earned its way to what appears certain victory?

I’m sorry, but turning that around and keeping the ball after scoring just so you can try to catch up should be almost impossible, not easy. 1 play for a twenty yard gain? Too easy. Do they get the ball by throwing deep but under throwing on purpose and getting an INT call? BS

I doubt these rules pass though anyways

its probably a higher chance of having a fart off to see who gets possession

I've got a better solution instead of introducing gimmicks to the game. Go back to the old kickoffs. Then take Aikman's advice to the rules committee and move the kickoff back to the 30 yard line.
That would create more kick returns, the NFL wants less.
