New Season of Weeds

I believe the new season of Weeds starts tonight.

Just a heads up for those that enjoy the show.

As if! No its pretty much all about lawn maintenance.

Kinda boring if you ask me.

I don't find it boring at all.

It certainly peaked though. First season was outstanding and the 2nd was close behind. 3rd was mediocre with an excellent finale that should have been the series-ender. 4th season was a bit better but it seemed the writers were looking toward building more of a "franchise" where they can drop in multiple new characters each season for added interest.

In the first season especially the characters were far more well rounded and the plot was much edgier... suburban mom dealing with the sudden death of her husband, turns to dealing to support the family. The brother in law and Kevin Nealon character especially ... now they are one of several goofy sidekicks.

despite what I said about S3 and S4, it is worth watching. Wife and I always tear through the DVDs when the come out (watched Season 2 in two nights, 3 in three nights). Usually we can barely watch a movie halfway through.
