Eddie Gossage of Texas Motor Speedway, a guy on the Michael Irvin Show just claimed parking will be $75.00 per car.

:omg:

That can't be true.

If this is true, JJ sure does have the "regular fans in mind." I can imagine people who live near the stadium will benefit by under cutting JJ by charging much less for fans to park in their drive ways.

i was told that parking will be 60, 70 and 100 $$ depending on which of
the Cowboys operated lots you get.
the Rangers operated lots i havent heard yet and there will also be a lot
of what they are calling entrepreneurial ( private) lots.
i havent seen any prices listed yet just what i was told by my ticket rep.
blue parking passes at TS were $53.00 but you couldnt get one from the
Cowboys and they often sold on ebay for 100$.....i actually sold mine for
140.00 once.
tailgating is going to be allowed in a grassy area around the perimeter of each
lot only.

on the city of arlington web site is some of the detailed parking, traffic and security
details in draft form, shows which streets will be closed, traffic flows reversed.....
http://www.ci.arlington.tx.us/cowboys/index.html

some good info there, kind of long and boring but still better than reading another TO thread

$75 to park? That's some serious change.

Amazingly, it probably will be. A blue pass was $50 at the old stadium. I think parking may be one of the areas that owners don't have to revenue share with players, so they give the fan the "bonus package" on parking if you get my drift. LOL

There were lots of games last year that tickets were hard to scalp, but parking passes always sold for a premium to face value.

I don't know about regular parking, but I believe the VIP parking is $75 per game.

or fort worth or south arlington/mansfield. Quiet, clean and easy to get to the stadium.

I have a plan already, I am just waiting till the rangers season starts to go and ask. The rangers get I think 15 or 20 bucks for there lots, but right across the street there are a group of small business that charge between 5 and 8 dollars to park. that is where I am hoping to park for this season for the cowboys. There is a bike path through the park leads to the bridge and the front door of jerryworld. this is my plan for now, if not I am going to park at lincoln square and make the long trek across collins and down abrams or ballpark way....Either way, I imagine they will get between 25 and 40 bucks, seeing that I paid 30 to park in the general lots this year i am cool with that.

Check out the map...i circled the small buisness which have a direct exit onto divison street-take a right and you are on 360 south. This is my hope that it is open, otherwise I will shoot for lincoln square across collins! in the top left of the map.

That's correct. That's the pricing for the reserved, valet parking.

Seriously ppl, do you really think they're going to charge more than $15-$20 for the "general admission" parking? Jerry's not that out of touch!

The shuttle system many hotels used for Texas Stadium was a great deal. Hopefully that system will continue with the new stadium.

Was it really? I genuinely thought it was $20.

I've had park passes for so long, I guess I lost touch. But I rode out to the T-day game w/ my cousin who's in a wheelchair and parks in the blue lot w/o the pass. I swear it was only a $20 I saw him hand the dude at the lot entrance.
