I recently went on a cruise and the ship had a cigar bar. Never tried any but man oh man I think I'm hooked. Had me two on the trip and that nice buzz they give is relaxing. Looking to build a nice little collection. Anyone have any suggestions for a begginer ?

My favorite legal cigar is the Arturo Fuente
Best cigar ever is the Cuban Cohiba.
I like a lot of the Fuente cigars.

The Padron 1926 maduro is one of my favorites but it is a little pricey.

I also like the "Le Bijou" from My Father brand.

The fun part is trying some and see what you like. Wide range of tastes.

I'll also recommend the 1926 Padron and I've been also smoking a lot of 5 Vegas which is a good value.

Are Cubans legal yet? I definitely wanna try one of those......Ive mostly stayed away from cigars since I quit cigs, I didnt want any kind of tobacco near my lips for fear of picking up the cig habit again. But its been long enough now I can enjoy a good cigar now and then.......

Used to smoke the **** out of Cuban Monte Cristos, Churchhills, Arturo Fuentes, Cohiba all Cuban -- back when I was in Iraq. The bazaars used to sell em all day. 5-10 bucks a pop, and a case of 25 for like 120 with the cool little wooden box. We took back cases of em to the states, snuck em through customs by slipping off the sleeves and hiding the sleeves in our action packers :) customs was military, too, they knew what was up. They were more worried about the other stuff being brought back lol

Very chill hobby, PC.

I smoked cigars. Now I vape and enjoy it more.

T, I vape now, too, man!!! Got a Smok M80 box and an aspire Atlantis 2 tank.

@Pessimist_cowboy enjoy your new found hobby, bubba. A good cigar always goes well with a glass of good (or even decent) scotch. As cliche as it is. The "high" you describe in your OP is maginifed with a couple fingers of scotch, man. Give it a shot :)

Well they fooled a whole damn infantry company. And we liked them.

And how do you know? What FOBS were you on and what bazaars were you going to? When were you in country? Did you go to the shops outside the wire or strictly bazaars on the FOBs? We were in three different cities while in country, two had bazaars the other was just a bunch of markets.

You see, unless you were at, where I was at, when I was there, quite frankly you have no idea for certain whether they were real or not. Our CO to our XO, to our 1SGT all the way down enjoyed them.

And your sig checks out...

If the price seems too good to be true, it is. I don't have to be deployed to know that, you see the same thing at tourist spots in Mexico and elsewhere.

Anyway, it was an ******* comment by me after one too many, so feel free to disregard.

Yeah, I'm gonna disregard. Appreciate the honesty on the tail end of your last sentence, bro

They were real, it was well known in country that they were getting shipped out there and making a fortune off of us. Lots of aficionado's in the military.

I like Romeo y Julieta, Montecristo, Punch

I'm no connoisseur, but these are the ones I usually get if I'm going out to the deer lease or something. Should all be available at your local cigar shop
