Round 1- Stephon Tuitt, DT, Notre Dame- Impressive blend of size and quickness. Has all the tools you could ask for in a DT.

Round 2- Ahmad Dixon, S, Baylor- Big, fast, and not afraid to be mean. Could be the spark the D needs.

Round 3- Anthony Steen, G, Bama- Shoulder surgery turns a 2nd round G into a 3rd round steal.

Round 4- Chris Smith, DE, Arkansas- Underrated edge rusher

Round 5- Shaq Evans, WR, UCLA- Ehh sue me, I wouldn't mind another weapon assuming Miles is gone

Round 6- Max Bullough, ILB, Michigan St- A true MLB who called the plays and was a captain for MSU. Was suspended for the Rose Bowl so I think that hurts his stock.

Round 7- Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma- Tore is ACL in October or he'd probably be a much higher pick. Great blocker but can do a little bit of everything.

Tuitt would be solid in the first, although not my first choice, and Steen in the 3rd would be great but I don't think he slips that far.

He got a misdemeanor assault because he thought a guy was trying to break into his house. It's not a reason to pass on a player, and neither is 1 hit that went too high trying to break up a pass.

And quite frankly our D could use a guy with an assault charge anyway.Drafting nice guys hasn't helped the D 1 bit.

Exactly my point. I think Jerry would like this kid because of those reasons. He usually likes players with a little edge. I will say, though, that he hasn't looked all that great tonight against UCF so far. A few missed tackles, one that led to a long TD run.

Love the Bullough pick, though I don't know if he would have the athleticism to play MLB in this type of system.

I don't think we need another "hard-hitting" safety. We have them on the roster and they tackle well but none of them can cover. We need a center fielder type safety.

It's amazing we discuss drafting a new Safety each year. We need to hit on one in an early round.

While I wouldn't put him in man coverage very often, I think Dixon can definitely be a CF in zone. He has great closing speed and has good ball skills. He's a playmaker.
