I didn’t notice Spann-Ford playing today - what’s up there? I actually think that kid has some potential. And right now the Cowboys should be playing ALL the young guys - especially the ones who’ve flashed potential. All I wanna see is YOUTH and POTENTIAL - in any order. From yesterday and going forward.
I saw Spann-Ford in the game some. He just didn’t get any balls thrown to him.

Any word on why CeeDee was out? He looked like he could come back in. Did he choose not to?

I liked how the running game came alive today. Dowdle has a burst and good vision. I just don't like how CeeDee didn’t come back in. Maybe it was out of an abundance of caution. Not sure why he wasn't even listed as questionable.
He fell on the shoulder he hurt 2 games ago. He looked like he was in lots of pain. When you have a hurt shoulder it’s hard to reach for the ball.

Another pointless win. I hate losing but we aren’t gonna be able to compete for anything so this is just hurting the draft pick and therefore the team.

This team, as it should be, is focused on the season not the draft. Hopefully they keep disappointing some of you whining about their draft position.

You might take a look at the Commanders and the Bengals this week. It isn't guaranteed that the Cowboys won't make the playoffs. They could easily catch Washington. It's looking like we aren't going to get a top 10 pick.
Its not catching the Commanders we need to worry about. The Cardinals, Buccaneers, Rams, and even the 49ers could easily catch them too (and right now have at least the same record as us, if not better). This is not a 2 team race. The 49ers hold the tiebreaker, and the Buccaneers possibly (dare say probably, will as well).

The Buccaneers in particular have a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way (the only team with a winning record is the Chargers left on their schedule) and will be a game ahead of us after playing the Raiders on Sunday. If we lose to them we would have to win out the rest of the way while they lose to the Saints and Panthers. Do you see that as a real, honest, possibility?

I think that the Titans, Eagles, and Cowboys will beat the Commanders.
That would require the Cowboys win four of the last five. Which means a six wins in seven games finish. That’s a tough order to fill. All for the opportunity to go play the Eagles in Philly, another team smarting from an embarrassing wild card round playoff loss last season and a head coach fighting for his job.

It’s more fun for fans to anticipate winning. It’s more realistic to keep a proper perspective. Every struggle the Cowboys are dealing with is directly related to poor management. Jerry did this.

Jerry did whatever happens. They will be what their record is.

We would need to beat the Bucs.

‪I hate to say it, but Brock Hoffman makes the OLine better ‬
Next year line. Smith LT, Hoffman LG, beebee C, bass RG, Guyton RT? Maybe……cuz Steele needed to go yesterday so we need to fill that spot. I wanted to see what the line looked like with Richard’s at LT and Guyton at RT (his college position), but Richard’s will be out a minute.

Sadly I agree…. Hate losing but try to be rational and realistic, we ain’t going nowhere and the higher the picks the better, start fresh next year injury free hopefully with new players and a year improved OL.
