It is. If Vernon Davis jumped up in the stands instead of standing on the camera stand, it wouldn't have been a penalty.

or if he spiked it over the goal post, its no penalty.. but if he spiked it and hung on to the goal post, it's a penalty..

Jacobs is a terrible short yardage back. Dunno why they use him as one.

because he is big.....but he is also slower to the hole and cannot make many moves...unless he is playing us:bang2:

Didn't say I didn't like Davis. Shall I make blocks with ABC's next time so it will be easier to comprehend? I said, stop comparing Davis to Witten because it's not fair, he's a freak of nature and comes around once in a lifetime, but Witten's still my boy. He's clutch, unlike some Cowboys starting QB I know.
Well I don't think it's fair to compare Romo to Flacco because Flacco is a freak.

You cannot debate people who come up with arbitrary reasons to decide why they think one player is better than another. Basically you don't like Romo and like Witten. Just say it so people will no longer waste time debating any more. Also, you realize who is throwing the ball to Witten right? It's not Witten.

You're trying to compare the QB position to the TE position? And people call my post dumb.

Dude, he's been trolling this whole time. We have no idea if he likes Romo or not.

Answer this then, if Witten is clutch that means he's making catches in tough spots. If he's making those catches, the ball has to be thrown somewhat accurately, yes? Who is making those throws? Is it the clutchless Romo?

Ugh, I know.

The good news is that Darth Hoodie and his boys should beat the winner of this game.

I never said Romo could not throw. I'm not talking about Romo right now because I don't want the lovers to get too mad, but let's just say that I'm not even responding to a post that is comparing the QB position to the TE position. It's too low IQ of me to respond to that. Sorry tupp.

Really? So why the need to "grandfather" it in? And frankly, the "prop" isn't on the field of play. It is off the field of play, just like the stands as well as the sideline.

because the leap was done for years, part of the tradition, and every team can do it, not just Green Bay...just like spking the ball over the goal post....the TV stand is a temporary structure..you hop up on it, its a penalty, if a player wants to act like a fool, go to his sidelines and act and use every prop he wants..this isn't a NEW rule, its been pretty clear for years now, where have you been!!

I like that even though the pass was incomplete, the 49ers CB still acknowledged that it was his fault that he let Nicks get open. It was just a poor throw from Eli. If that was the Cowboys DB, he'd be celebrating and acting like actually caused the incomplete pass with great coverage :laugh2:

I never compared the two positions. What you're doing now is copping out. I used the same logic you do, to compare TEs on different teams. I never compared Davis to Romo, that is what comparing the positions is.
