If Giants plan on the SB they may want to buy a bunch of Bud Light and hope they find the gold can to be in the drawing for tickets. Outside of that, they will not be going to the SB. :)

Yup.

They (media/fans)are talking like they got this again.

Saying this is like their previous runs to winning the Super Bowls.

Eli and 3 - I might puke
Giants vs Pat - goodness gracious... whoever wins... we lose!
Yes agree, Eli with 3 and I will puke as well. Romo IMO has always had him beat, but Eli managed to go on two magical runs...All THX to his defense no doubt. They will be a problem unless their offense totally melts down, their defense seems to be that good.

How does this make you feel?

Me, personally... I'm hoping next years cowboys champions are here... A YEAR EARLY!
Yes agree 3 rings for Eli and I may puke as well. IMO Romo has always had him beat, but Eli has managed to go on two magical playoff runs...No doubt to his defense. The giants will be a tough out all due to their $200m defense, all they need to do is hit a couple of passes to OBJ and that could be enough as we have already seen first hand recently. I hope someone takes them out early...

Ha, so much for that $200m defense, Sproles just gashed them.

Should have at least waited to see how this game went before posting this thread.

Yes but Eli has gone virtually mistake-free on those runs.
I don't think Romo is/was capable.

Yup, another SB run with NO running game. Eli throwing 60+ passes. So much for their great d (even without JPP).

Giants are a very formidable foe. They've also lost 2 of their last 4.

They're only good at home, bad news for the Giant is they play @washington, then all of their playoff games would be on the road. No more home games.

Can't wait for excuses from MKellerman on First Take for the Giants.

They will probably have to win 3 playoff road games. Yes I know they did that twice before but I'm not buying this team as being like those teams. They don't even have JPP for the rest of the season.

They've won 8 of 9 but most of those games were at home. The only road games they won in that period was vs Cleveland and vs the Rams, and they lost at Pittsburgh. Also I'm not making excuses but let's be honest we faced them in bad weather with a wet ball and Stafford has a bad finger. Starting tonight, other than them stealing the division from us all of their games will be on the road from here to the Super Bowl.

They have a good defense but they've had a home heavy schedule lately and a weak road schedule. That's about to end, they'll have to prove they can win on the road in a big way and if they get to the Super Bowl they'll earn it, but they won't.
Truth.

Whoa - hold up.

He was the benefactor of two of the greatest defensive runs in NFL Playoff history averaging only giving up just under 15 PPG.

And you simply cannot ignore some of the most fortunate throws in playoff history. Dropped INT's that would've ended the Giants season at so many various points. The Rodney Harrison drop in the Super Bowl was the most egregious, but in the NFC Championship game in 2011 the 49ers had three passes that were so poorly thrown, two of their own players knocked themselves off the ball and it fell harmlessly to the ground.

Skip Bayless is right - Eli is not the worst nor is he the best QB to ever win a Super Bowl - but he is certainly the luckiest.

This just in...NO quarterback...and I mean no quarterback can throw 63 times without committing some serious mistakes. I can't even remember the last time someone threw this many passes in a winning effort. MOF...you have to go back 18 years to find a game where a QB threw 63 times and ended up with a win...Vinny Testaverde...1998...Jets at Seattle (32 - 31).
