Nice pick up, boxers have a great temperment. Im a vet tech and their fur makes my skin break out as well as a few other breeds so I dont think I could own one. But their are alot at the practice and some of my favorite dogs. So I hope you enjoy your new friend for years to come.

Their are plenty of people that use human glucosamine for their dogs so you dont have to worry about that, the difference is mostly in flavor agents for the dog version. Someone should deffinately start the post your pet thread!

I think we had one a long time ago. I'll try to dig it up.

Why is that pure breeds have all the health problems and mutts never seem to get sick? :laugh2:

Unscrupulous breeders inbreed them to keep overhead low on their stock dogs...

It's pretty much ruined the Dalmatian breed. A high percentage of those pups are born deaf...

I once had a Chow Chow named Bob Barker...

I had a Catahoula. I had asked for a male pup. Named it trigger. Well.... I got a call from my future ex and he told me that trigger was gone. He said trigger didn't have a trigger so he renamed HER to Whiskey Trip. She was way too smart for her own good

The Catahoula Cow Dog

Catahoula has a bred-in and somewhat natural instinct to herd livestock. Catahoulas are not used as stock dogs only, they are also being used to hunt coon, squirrel, bear, deer, and hogs. They are used in search and rescue, drug detection, as companions for the handicapped, and in other law enforcement areas. When it comes to herding, Catahoulas are used on sheep, geese, turkey, hogs, and cattle.

Oh man, this is GREAT news. I wasn't sure if I could and didn't want to risk it. This will save me a ton of money cuz the vet charges a lot for the gluc pills.

Thanks!
