2. Larry English OLB Norther Illinois 6-3 254
3. Connor Barwin DE Cincinnati 6-4 255
4.
Worrell Williams ILB California 6-1 248
5a. Jarron Gilbert DT San Jose State 6-5 280
5b. Sherrod Martin FS Troy 6-1 198
6. Domonique Johnson CB Jackson St. 6-2 190
7a. David Johnson QB Tulsa 6-3 220
7b. David Johnson FB Arkansas St. 6-2 250

This draft is heavy defense however, I left out the 3 compensation picks so it's not really a big deal. I know some players like Connor and English are projecting pretty high however I expect them to slide when underclass men declare and such. With a little bit of luck and some wheeling and dealing those two guys could be had. I don't think O Line is as big of a problem as people have made it out my self included. I think people need to remember Proctor = 3 string OG and 2nd string C he's easily replaceable and he most likely will. Holland and Proctor being 100% next year will be huge and no back up LT isn't that big of a deal considering we have big. However, I'd probably go OLine with 2 of the 3 conpensation picks. So try not to freak out about that oh yeah I also didn't target a big hulking NT. There really isn't one I like Ratliff needs a back up not a replacement. Ramses Burden this is my first mock with out him =/ I think he's good and if we do decided to go WR in the first 3 rounds I hope we draft him I also left out my favorite safety Rashad Johnson =/. Feedback suggestion and advise welcome.

Nice draft.....I like all those guys except for the FB.

On a 2 TE offense we will only be carrying one FB.

All those guys on D are NFL players.......

However, they would never see the field on our team.

I'm looking at ILB/NT first.

Trade up for Raji and move Rat to DE.

I don't think we should move our pro bowl DT to DE just because it's believed he will fair better at that spot. Yeah I don't have any plans of keeping Anderson, he's not a option in the run game nor in the passing game and his blocking is suspect and he got Romo hurt. Also they have a very good chance to see play at least the first four picks do then the other guys can be ST/ backs ups. So they will see the field no matter if it's defense or ST.

Personally, I'll hate our draft if we do not address the O Line with some talented players. Our reserves are horrible. Cory Proctor showed just how awful he is and the other guys couldn't beat him out? No more signing scrubs off of other people's practice squads. We need at least 2 o linemen out of this draft IMO.

I'm not big on Larry English. Connor Barwin is 6'3" /255 so wouldn't he be a 3-4 OLB? That means your first two picks are back-up's for DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer, and Greg Ellis (if he's still here).

Overall I think you have some solid players but they are all kind of bland to me. Not much help next year and didn't address our Offensive Line depth which I feel is a glaring need.

Don't we have two 4th round picks?

I don't think OLine is a big of an issue as you think. IDK if English would play inside or OLB for us he may get moved to ILB which would be pretty sweet. Bland players I think i'll take that as a compliment we don't need studs every just to add depth at key posititions and possible a starter in the ILB ranks and you can never have to may pass rushers. If English can play OLB and ILB oh my god the possibilites. Getting back to the O Line you say it's a glaring need however what do you feel are our biggest weakness not named Proctor. Once we get healthy again that is going to be one of our stronger posistions IMO with a lot of depth.

McQuistan and Free have yet to show me anything but I'd be okay with giving them both another year. Berger and Proctor are horrible. Flozell is almost done. Leonard Davis, Kyle Kosier, Montrae Holland, Columbo, and Andre Gurode are all very solid but are getting up there in age. I think we need a Guard and Center and we should consider a tackle to replace Flozell.

I thought English was a DE/OLB type. You feel he can play ILB? If so, I'd change my opinion on him.

Hmm you may be right about English not being able to play inside I saw his numbers but for some reason I thought he was playing at OLB. Even if English can't do that Connor may have the ability to move insides considering he seems to be like an athletic freak. I'm all for adding depth along the O Line. Like I said in the paragraph underneath my mock. If i factored in the compensation picks then I would defintley go O Line. At the same positions that you stated.
