Round 1-
Cooper/Warmack- Done arguing which one is better....just give me either one because our interior line is atrocious. Either 1 is a day 1 starter at LG and possibly our best lineman period.

Round 2-
David Amerson- Starter at FS. Big, fast, and isn't afraid to tackle. Definitely fits the new breed of coverage 1st safety needed with all of the anti-hitting rules being established. Played S in high school so the transition shouldn't be too difficult.

Round 3- *Trade down to end of 3rd for an extra 5th*
Stedman Bailey- Despite his size this kid is a gamer. Tough runner and runs smoothe routes. Great weapon to get in the 3rd.

Round 4-
Gerald Hodges- Smart player who did nothing but produce at Linebacker U. Converted safety so he has the range and coverage skills to hold his own in pass defense. His strong point is that he is a sure wrap up tackler with great pursuit. I think he could be a day 1 starter.

Round 5-
Miguel Maysonet- Good size, good enough speed, and a tough runner. Can run inside or out and always fights for extra yardage. Would make a very good 2nd back.

Cornelius Washington- Absolutely killed the combine but has absolutely no college production to back it up. May be due to playing out of position and a switch to 4-3 DE could very well help him. Could be a steal.

Round 6-
Peter Lalich- I think everyone knows the story by now...worth drafting here just in case some other team sees a gem and drafts him.

Best option, IMO. If both are available, I would take Cooper.

Round 2-
David Amerson
I am intrigued with this player as a Safety. Some people say he would be terrible and others say he would be a great safety. It is also possible that he could play CB in the Tampa-2 scheme. You just can't ignore his ability to come up with Interceptions.

Round 3- *Trade down to end of 3rd for an extra 5th*
Stedman Bailey
I like the player, but is he clearly better than any DT or possibly OT available here?

Round 4-
Gerald Hodges
I'm surprised that he didn't try to improve on his combine forty time at his Pro-Day. He does appear to play faster than his timed speed.

For me, he would have to be clearly better than any DT or OT available here.

Round 5-
Miguel Maysonet
Interesting player. With a big list of RBs in this draft, is he clearly the best RB in the 5th round? I thought he was more of a 7th round type.

Cornelius Washington
Prefect fit at Strong-Side DE in Kiffin's scheme, IMO.

Round 6-
Peter Lalich
OK I guess. The sixth round is late enough that they might be able to slide him to the Practice Squad to avoid using a roster spot on a 3rd QB.

I probably should have pointed it out but I'm assuming (or at least REALLY hoping) we manage to sign one of several free agents who are capable of starting at RT for us.

And as far as DT, I don't see it as a huge need where I would go out of the way to draft one to be honest. Rat, Hatcher, Price, Lissemore, and Crawford are all going to get a good amount of snaps I believe. I don't see the need to invest a high pick there. DE is more of a need in my opinion. Of course if a great value presents itself I would never be against drafting any position.

I agree that they don't need to force the pick of a DT early; however, I would be surprised if they didn't draft both a DT and DE at some point. Another option would be drafting 2 DEs and keeping Crawford at DT fulltime.

I also agree that DE is a big need. Crawford is about the only legit backup on the current roster and he is a Strong-Side only type. With the current roster, if Ware was out, Spencer would probably move to the Weak-Side with Crawford replacing him on the Strong-Side.
