Newman at WR tonight...

When I saw Terence Newman lined up as a WR tonight, it made me wonder if this was a desparate attempt to get some speed in the lineup at the WR position.

Its been done every week for the last 2-3 weeks, tonight was his first touch.

T-New is just a play-maker period. His punt return, even though only 6 yards, was reminiscent on Deion Sanders.

About speed at the WR position, we DEFINATELY need it, but what we don't need is a speedy WR with baggage....yes, I'm talking about T.O. Just don't bring him in here.

If playing Newman at WR is desirable cause we need his speed, then let's go get a quality WR with the necessary speed who can play for us for years.

Totally agree about TO although I would have to root for him if he came here but, I would feel so conflicted about it........
