Great view for balls and strikes
This place is called Dolphin Stadium, but the press box is best suited for covering the Marlins.
Our seats are right behind home plate. Unfortunately, that puts us in the corner of an end zone. We do at least have an excellent view of the massive video board.
Terence Newman was on the field when I got to my seat, but he must have tested his foot before I got here. He had a chat with Stephen Jones and headed to the locker room. We'll let you know as soon as we hear something about Newman's status today.

Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman has been out on the field, but I'm guessing he will not play today. Just a guess.
Should know more in about 20 minutes.

No go for Newman
Just got word that cornerback Terence Newman will not play. That keeps Jacques Reeves in the starting lineup and Nate Jones working the nickel.
Reeves was a freshman at Purdue when he played against Dolphins receiver Chris Chambers, who went to Wisconsin. Reeves said he should be more comfortable this week in his second start than the first. Heck, he earned a game ball for his one interception, three pass break-up effort. Of course, Wade Phillips handed out a ton of game balls.
Newman wants to be sure he doesn't hurt himself more so he misses more games later in the season. Smart move. He worked in practice last week on a limited basis in preparing for the Dolphins. Another week of practice should help him.

I'm not surprised. We should be able to beat Miami without him. I'm tired of the injury excuses this team comes up with every season. Even last year - only one player was hurt and that was supposedly the reason the whole team tanked. Step up, Cowboys!

I think our team on defense will struggle until Newman comes back and Greg Ellis, when we get both of those players back, then I think you will see the defense we were projected to be with Wade Phillips directing them.
SO, this is what I think, Newman wont play until after the Bear game, and so will Greg Ellis, by then I think you will see both of those players playing.
