Here's Part One with a call in from Tank..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhJaTm0g2-M

Here's Part Two with Newman..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9liI44vMjkY

-----------------------------------------

Excellent stuff in here from both Tank and Newman.

Tanks talks about being a team leader, which is impressive since the guy hasn't even been here for a year yet.

Newman covers a bunch of stuff including how the team was 'over confident' leading up to the Giants playoff game.

Great stuff, just watch the vids!

we can't start rat at DE and tank at NT cause than we have no backup NT.

we'll be lucky if tnew gets half that many picks.

and no i hate seeing jerry on the sidelines.

I think our Strength and Conditioning coach Joe J. deserves alot of credit. I have observed players commenting and thanking him for their conditioning and stuff. I have never noticed players that leave us and go to other teams, talk about their new strength and conditioning coaches.

Great videos. Thanks. And you're right, Newman does a good job and Johnson is very articulate. A very good influence, it seems. thanks again.

:)

Why would the team be "over confident" going into that game when we stumbled into the playoffs. That attitude worries me. Is that an indictment of Wades inability to keep the team focused? I hate hearing that!

He must be good. He was someone else Parcells tried to steal for the organization.

If we blew the Giants out like we were supposed to Jerry wouldv'e only came on th sidelines during the celebrations. I love it when he hits the sidelines. Everybody better step it up once they see the boss come through.

Yeah, they shouldn't have been over confident, but given the way they finished the season they had no reason to be over confident, which makes it a double whammy. I don't know if that is an indictment of Wade, but it is an indictment of someone!!!!

I disagree - that is the COACHES job - it shouldn't have to take the owver coming down on the field to get some of these nitwits attention.

LEADERSHIP - this team is lacking it - someone needs to step up.

Because they swept the Giants in the regular season and this was a home game, all they felt they needed to do was just show up.

That is directly from TNew not just something I made up. He said that Thursday on NFL Live.

This might be our most talented team ever on PAPER

Thank you... I just said that in another thread, glad someone else agrees...

Doesn't mean that it is, it just means in theory it should be.

I was unable to catch the rerun of this on ESPN, so I thank you very much!!

Could be but they have to show it. And the statement is a huge, huge statement to make. There have been many great teams and at least three have been mentioned as the greatest team of all time.

I have stated it could be another Doomsday defense. But that is a fair amount of homerism from me. They have the ability to put it out there but they have to do it including winning the SB.

Right, definitely could be. Superbowl winners on "paper" are the things legends are made of... like the 2007 New England Patriots :p:

Anyway, like last year, the team health is the first item of worry on my list. If our team stays healthy, we can and will beat every team on through the regular season and playoffs....

Last year's problems with T.O. being a prime example... gimpy #1 receivers just don't cut it.

I wonder what the track record is for can't miss teams not winning the SB. Heck, some don't even make the playoffs.

People keep worrying about losing our top WR and I agree. But that would be nothing compared to losing Romo. You're right. You have to be lucky, good, hot at the right time and healthy to even think about winning it all.
