I agree with you on this, it will more beneficial to have a healthy Newman come games 10-16 and beyond.

In my opinion, we need to our #1 draft pick to have some playing time as well as test the rest of the CBs.

I'm a big Newman fan. I agree with sitting him if he's not healthy.

However, it's hard not to consider him somewhat fragile at this stage of his career. Given his recent large contrac extension, that is a concern.
