Hey, I think there's a game this weekend!

And, perhaps, the rest of the week will be drama-free... It's a wish, at least.

First, the Giants' injury report: FB Robert Douglas (knee), WR David Tyree (wrist) and LB Gerris Wilkinson (knee) are out for Sunday.

Everyone else did at least some work. Limited to individual drills were CB Sam Madison (hamstring), LB Kawika Mitchell (groin) and T Guy Whimper (ankle).

WR Plaxico Burress, DE Adrian Awasom, CB Kevin Dockery and OL Grey Ruegamer all practiced fully.

Tony Romo just got off the horn with us, and Cowboys coach Wade Phillips is on now. Nothing really of note, except for Romo saying the biggest difference between Phillips and Bill Parcells is the former coach's more profilc use of four-letter words.

Not much else for now... Maybe someone else will write a book by the end of today and I'll have more to say.

Reminds me of one of my college coaches. He was a very religious man and didn't cut. He'd always say "DadGummit!".

However, one day we were running plays vs the defense with no pads/no helmet. I got the ball on a dive and one of the moron linebackers (Andrew Bettle) tried to come up and hit me (didn't do squat).

The coach says "Bettle!" then paused..."You hit like a *****!".

Freakin' hilarious. No one expected that to come from his mouth.

I was thinking the same thing.

it seems like a game to him - he's just batting the reporters around a bit but not giving them anything to make controversy out of.

When i lived in New York they really didn't care too much for him in general, Giants fans saw him as a mercenary that went to New England, coached for the crosstown rival Jets and was the incumbent for the hated Dallas Cowboys. 1990 was along time ago and 1986 even further back, the love affair is mostly over.
