When something is WORKING, keep it up!

Gone was the pressure on the QB once Favre went out....nearly backfired.

Pitiful second half.

Happy we won, but is it too much to ask for perfection? :) Quit with the adjustments downwards.

No kidding. It's like we backed off to see what Rodgers would do instead of just doing what had worked thus far. If he beats what was working against Favre? Fine, but don't change it just because Rodgers came in the game.

Yes, we're 11-1 and I don't think anyone is complaining about the job we were doing on Favre. However, when he left, we stopped attacking. I just wonder why we did that is all.

it's not a stupid thread, Brian Stewart's VERY QUESTIONABLE defensive mentality change nearly cost Dallas the game.

yeah, it should have bee a rout...not sure what they were thinking once Favre went out...they should have thrown the kitchen sink at Rodgers, instead they laid back and played some of the softest coverage we've seen all year

but we're 11-1 and have a few extra days to make adjustments and get healthier...hopefully they can figure some things out

I think the players just relaxed when Favre went out. Obviously, we were playing as well as we have all year against him with tons of pressure and the INT, and it's like they thought the game was over when Rodgers came in. Then they got a little momentum and got rolling.

I hate to see it because now people will claim we suck since Aaron Rodgers scored on us, but still, we were kicking Favre's butt 27-10 while he was in.

It was all RW's fault he was letting all those receivers catch stuff in front of him and missing all those tackles on short passes...wait he wasn't in there he was replaced by people that people on this very board said were better in coverage...

Jolly Rogers took what "was available" much better than Farve was doing......

Yards after catch has been huge for G.Bay all year.......

I stand by what I said above this is a stupid thread you don't know what the coaches called, Green Bay is a good team and the Cowboy players let up a little bit.

News flash players make plays and coaches coach. I'm tired of all the negative crap, I've watched this team since 1960 and its never been 11-1.

Is there a problem with stating the obvious? We could have EASILY lost this game due to a defensive scheme change....a change which NEVER should have materialized.

There is NOTHING wrong with pointing these things out...that's why we are called FANS....as in FANATIC for our team and wanting something closer to perfection than what that second half was....if you want a board that always gives each other high fives, go find another board.....we aren't all just robots who don't see things.

too bad the NFL doesn't hand out Lombardi Trophies for regular season records. I'd rather be 10-6 and run the table in the playoffs with a SB appearance (at least) than be 15-1 and get bounced in the 1st round

EXACTLY! If our DC continues making boneheaded defensive scheme changes midway through games in the playoffs, we'll be bounced...but no worry, we have guys like Next_Years_Champs that will be shocked and wonder THEN why we did it.

what's wierd, is that the only 2 young QBs we faced, a rookie Trent Edwards, a spare Aaron Rodgers, and we rush straight at them

yet we mix it up against the vets, I just wished we would go all out against all QBs

and I'm tired of Wade saying one thing, but doing another

"w/ a young QB, you try to confuse him" we never try that against any young QBs

"against this type of O, you want to play either man, or an aggressive zone" we play a soft-zone tonight

Oh I guess they hand them out in week 13 if you win by 30???

I don't think so.

I think we relaxed but I agree with the comment that Rodgers took the underneath stuff where Favre was getting caught up in trying to match Romo and throw it deep too much. One reason the pressure was getting to Favre was because he was holding the ball trying to get it deep.

Our secondary could use another good cover corner that is for sure. I hate when teams spread us out and go shotgun, quick throws. We don't defend that very well.

calm down, i'm just saying the bizarre change in defensive scheme is a valid point

if that makes me "less" of a fan because i'm not ejaculating over an 11-1 record then so be it
