The second preseason game is one of the real tests of the preseason. Anyone can have one great game (Felix Jones) or one bad game (Danny Amendola and Adam 'Pacman' Jones).

Game two is when a trend is developed. If Danny Amendola fumbles again, he's a fumbler and cut. If Adam Jones doesn't play well, his signing will endure more scrutiny.

If Felix Jones doesn't repeat his dazzling performance, then maybe he isn't the second coming of Tony Dorsett or Reggie Bush after all.

Great players are great because they are consistently great.

Now the backup quarterback just has to be good enough. Brad Johnson should get some significant playing time with the first team offense.

If he doesn't prove able bus driver then he may be driving right out of Dallas.
It's also an opportunity for guys like cornerback Evan Oglesby to prove they can make plays during games.

Also worth watching will be the Cowboys second unit offensive line, which struggled in San Diego, and the special teams, which has struggled for more than a year.

We know Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, DeMarcus Ware and other stars will be good to go for the regular season, but now it's time for the other guys to show what they have.
