On the break Nick was saying

GIANTS game if won could mean NFC East title

Bucs game could mean 1st round bye

Lions game could mean HFA throughout.

Each of those next 3 games all have playoff implications to all teams. As to making the playoffs, winning their divisions or one game closer to it.

Dallas, TB, Detroit, all for divisions and Ny, for a playoff spot, and still even for the divison.

If Giants lose, and then if they lose 2 more, they could miss the playoffs at 9-7, but it it sure be nice if they lose out and ,is at 8-8, as long as one of the teams slipping in, is not the Commanders. But then it may be Vikings or Packers too..

Nick lost all credibility when he said the Patriots would blow out the Giants 45-0 in 2008.

I believe his exact words to Dereck Eagleton at the time was "Blow Out..........BLOW OUT!!!!"

Derek was like......what? Blow Out?

Nick was like..........."BLOW OUT!!!".

Patriots lost to Giants 17-14.

Have not listened or read a word from him since.

These are not win or go home games, and we've clinched a playoff spot. These next 4 games could not be much further from a playoff game.

Nothing wrong with this...nothing at all

They are VIGs. Very Important Games. I wanted to add something to it but I'm not allowed. Mom's always watching.

You guys might consider lightening up some. I know what he meant. It does affect our seeding. A win likely buries them. Maybe even...........permanently.....at least this year.

Test game, trap game, must win game...... there's 16 of 'em. Win them and then there's a championship game. Weird, huh?

Honestly those are bigger games for the Giants, Bucs and Lions. We're going to the playoffs already and will get HFA while they are fighting to stay in or make the playoffs.

I don't think that's such a "bold" outrageous statement given the state of both teams at the time. Certainly not one to "lose credibility" but to each their own.

I believe his facts are wrong. As I see it, if we win the next TWO games we have HFA throughout the playoffs wrapped up. Not three games. Even if Seattle and Detroit win out they would only have twelve wins. We would have 13 with wins over the Giants and Bucs, thus making both the Lions and Philthy games inconsequential.

Correction. I should have said lost all credibility with "me". Apologies.

I'm sure to others, it was fine. So I'm just speaking for me only.

Fair enough

That Patriots team was on of the best teams this league has ever seen...

This is how I see the playoffs now win these next two and the last two games are not of any consequence to our rankings and HFA. Both the Giants and Commanders will be in a fight for their lives to make the playoffs and the schedule makes these last two weekends of football very entertaining.

Playoff caliber opponents might be more correct. If we win the next two games we have bye and HFA. We can sit back and watch the jockeying for playoffs that the last two weeks will provide.
