The Cowboys have a chance to win 4 straight headed into their 7th Wildcard showdown with Tampa at the Star. The Joneses would be dancing in the streets if some how that happened.

Jeanty is a legitimate top 10 player in this draft and would make the Cowboys a better team, so I don’t understand the issue fans have drafting him. If the Cowboys don’t get in the top 8 he will be off the board so it’s a mute point talking about him now.

I'm also pretty doggone sure that we'll lose just enough to see some quite good draft positioning.

I think we will win 2 or 3 more and finish 6-11 or 7-10. Out of the playoffs obviously, and out of the top 10 in the draft.

Eagles will probably still be in the hunt for the #1 seed. Also think we will lose to the Bucs.
Giants, Bengals, Panthers and Wash. are winnable but I think we will lose 1 or 2 of them.

It's because he's a RB. He's an absolute wrecking ball of a player, but you can get an effective RB in rounds 2-4 honestly. Will they be as good all around as Jeanty? No, but you can get guys with one really loud trait - be it speed, or hands, or vision. If you are drafting in the top 10, unless you are a contender that traded up, you very likely have massive needs at all the premium positions - CB/EDGE/OT/QB - so you should be concentrating there.
