Next coach speculation on ESPN 103-Dallas...

Man - Jeff Fisher would be ideal , he is a tp flight coach and a tuff SOB - Don't toy with my emotions like this!! This better be true!!!

Fisher is from the Buddy Ryan tree so he'd actually be a 46 guy wouldn't he?

You can't run the 46 now as it was meant to run... it would have to be a hybrid...

Four-wide sets are real trouble for the 46 and everyone has those these days...

No need for me to explain... I hate Jack Del Rio for the sorry person he is and I don't want him here...

Well, don't mince words there, TB. Tell it like it is, brotha.

I like Fisher but isn't he a 4-3 guy and hasn't JJ given his promise to keep the 3-4 around.

Del Rio seems to be doing to well in JVille. Is his contract up next year?

I read that too. To me that's the problem with Jerry...If a new coach comes in let him make any and all changes that he wants...Don't stick him with the 3-4 or coaches he doesn't want.

I know he let Parcells make changes and he should let the next guy too.

I don't think BP is going anywhere but if he does leave I'd like to see Dennis Green here.

I thought Denny Green would change his fortunes with his revamped Cards this year, but he is who we thought he is!

I can't recall Fisher ever running a 4-3 in houston:confused:

If memory serves he was an assistant under Buddy Ryan when the Oilers installed the 46 in 1993. He was retained as defensive cooridinator when Buddy went to Arizona, and got the head coaches job when Jack Pardee got the ax in 1994.

Soooooooo .. can anyone explain to me what makes Del Rio such a good coach?

He's not...If it's between Del Rio and Fisher...I'd take Fisher any day.

Well, he is a great motivator. Chopping wood in the locker room? C'mon, how can that not fire a team up? Oh, the punter almost chopped his foot off....no big deal, it is a just a punter.

He also hired Mike Tice. To me, this indicates that he is supremely sure of himself. A coach with any insecurities what so ever wouldn't bring in an assistant of such staggering intelligence.

So....if you don't get the sarcasm.....I don't think much of Del Rio either.

Every once in a while I need things explained to me, and this will be one of those times.

What exactly has Jack Del Rio done to be held in such high esteem? Jacksonville has been beaten by the Commanders and the Texans this season. BLOWN OUT by the Texans. Three years he has a wildcard birth and a blowout loss in the playoffs to show for it.

dont look now but isnt that the same resume parcells has here in dallas?

Don't count out Jimmy... That man loves the spotlight and he's got to be chomping at the bit to get a hold of some of the talented Dallas players. Jimmy convinced the team psychologically that no one could beat them. BP on the other hand reminds them every day that they 'better do their jobs' or they will lose.

No, he is the lowest paid Head Coach, not one of them.
