Let's say for the sake of argument that the owners and players can't work it out, and the entire 2011 season is scrapped.
Would the 2012 draft occur as usual, and if so, would the draft order just be repeated from 2011? That would double the reward for teams that underachieved in 2010 (like the Cowboys IMO) and double the penalty for overachieving teams...
Along the same lines, if there is, say, a shortened season with scab players, I can see teams tanking games to gain draft position advantage, presuming that their "real" teams will be back the following season.
