ATL - 0-2 - Phi L - Bucs L - Home game Dallas

The next game is at KC

Carolina hasn't played anyone of strength. Neither has Denver. And both games are home games for Dallas. I don't see the Pats as a roadblock to a win streak.

Add to this Dallas played two tough teams. The GOAT and Hebert were tests for this defense. Regardless of your opinion of how Dallas played, or won yesterday, the Cowboys have faced a tougher schedule thus far than any of the next seven teams.

The 1977 Dallas Cowboys won their first 8 games. I'm not suggesting McCarthy is equal to Landry. But the team seems to be gelling. Players scheduled to return. Micah Parsons is revealed to be Superman.

There will be players who have missed that will be coming back all through this segment of the schedule.

Health is the key. But looking at the schedule from here on out, provided Dallas doesn't spit the bit in this section of 2021, I can see Dallas at 11-6 or 12-5.

Dallas could lose 4 of these games, and possibly 5.

Opinion on the schedule?

We have a cupcake schedule I think.

5-2 is a conservative estimate over these next 7. 4-3 is a huge disappointment.

7-0 or 6-1 is very achievable if this team keeps improving.

Dallas is a team that should get a lot better as the year goes on. Especially defensively.

man, this is as optimistic as you’ve been in a while. This team isn’t sound enough to go 6-1, I don’t think.

McCaffrey and Darnold can beat the Cowboys by themselves if the defense doesn't show up to play.

If we, as fans, have learned anything in the last 25+ years of watching the Cowboys play, it's that you CANNOT assume any win. There are no "cupcake win" weeks in Dallas.

I can easily see the Cowboys going 5-2 in the next 7 games. I can also, just as easily, see them going 2-5.

They just better show up every week.

We will need to win 5 of the next 7. With Carolina being a tough game, possibly, and Minnesota will not be a cake walk ethers.
Those divisions games are always tough. I don’t know what to make of any of those teams yet.
On paper, all 7 are winnable. If they clean up some of the mess on defense. Like all the wide open players.

However the 2nd half of the schedule seems much tougher. But we don’t know about any teams yet. Need another 3 to 5 weeks of games.
But I do not see is losing 4 or 5 of those games. Based on the play against 2 of the harder opponents on the schedule. Other than KC for sure. Well, 4 at the most. But I think more like 3 losses in there.

A lot of football to go, and need to get those injured players back and stay healthy of course.

nobody is a cake walk for this team. we aren’t a cake walk for anyone either.

The panthers mopped the floor with the saints. The saints are better than nobodies. Maybe not as good as usual but they aren’t trash.
Problem is nobody can predict which Jameis is going to show up every week…he’s still inconsistent but talented

Opponents aren’t better than us. I think Vegas will agree with me and we’ll be favored in all these games.

I don't have the optimistic outlook that you do, but crazier things have happened!

Not one single person thought we'd win 11 straight in 2016.

It'd be fun to watch us get on a crazy roll like that again

Seriously, are you the guy are the camp out that drinks too much beer and ends up peeing on the campfire?

We aren't players. Our looking past the next opponent does not affect the outcome.
Suit yourself.

I think Cowboys just need to stay focus, take no game for granted. NFL season right now is in the crazy portion of the season where everyone is trying to figure out who is who. GB had their butts handed to them by NO who looked like world beaters only to turn around and lose. My feeling Cowboys need to look at each up coming game as tough opponents and get themselves ready or else you end up getting beat.
