I'm actually glad the Eagles beat Minnesota yesterday. First of all, we needed the Vikings to start losing some games when it comes to playoff home field considerations. More importantly, I think this gives Dak the chance to seal the deal in terms of starting QB for rest of the year.

If the Eagles had lost, making it three losses in a row...the Romonians would have dismissed a Dallas win next Sunday. Now what do they say when you are playing a team that just crushed a previously undefeated team? I don't know, but I'm looking forward to hearing their dismissal next Sunday and why Romo should get his job back after a 6-1 start by Dak (and likely 7-1 start after playing Cleveland...although in years past, this would be a perfect setup game for a Dallas loss, but I don't think that is going to happen with this new group)

I think this is the game Dak has multiple picks. He will not have the time had against GB. Eagles will blitz him at will. It will be a one score game.

If the Eagles start becoming blitz-crazy...guess what, we finally might get to see a game where Elliot has 100+ yards on the ground and also breaks some long ones on screen passes, possibly getting 100+ yards through the air. And GB just had some 3rd-tier guys like Clay Matthews rushing the passer [sarcasm].

It's going to be a battle and being a rookie, Dak is due for some costly mistakes. You know their strategy is to try to test his arm by taking away the run. Our receivers and Dak are going to need to be on the same page because I sincerely think that Zeke will not break the 100yard barrier in this game. I just think naturally we'll come out in the 1quarter a little rusty however if we're patient, we stick with the ground game, our defense holds up especially in the first half, we'll be in good shape to come out with a win.
1. Patience with the run
2. No turnovers
3. Win special teams

Good posts so far. Dak's college teammate Fletcher Cox is an anchor on that Philly defense. They are legit and one of the toughest tests yet. Cox is a freak in terms of strength, and I hope the OL is able to contain him. I feel like they will.

Definitely a big test for the Cowboys, and one I think Dak will be ready for. I am glad Dez will be back for this one as we do need to have every person available.

If Zeke gets 130 yards against that team, I will be impressed.
