Next up is Falcons

This obviously is no “ break “ in the schedule . Patterson is a run / receiving threat Kyle Pitts will be a handful for the secondary and Matt Ryan can go hot or cold but shredded NO yesterday for 343 yards . At 4-4 rookie coach Smith has this team thinking either division or wildcard after the Eagles roughed them up opening game.

Following this is KC and Vegas . The Cowboys better snap out of the sleep walking down 30 zip to Broncos and figure out for example who’s the left tackle Sunday and how does the front seven stop running backs from going zero to 8 yards in three seconds with no contact . Atlanta probably better then Denver to be honest.
Quinn should know all of Matt Ryan's weaknesses.

I think the blowout loss might be better for the Cowboys than having lost a close game.
- It should refocus them. Lamb said that didn't have a good week of practice.

I didn't like the McCarthy hire from the start. I don't believe he is a good coach. Aaron Rodgers isn't going to walk through that door and save him from his own stupid decisions.

Nobody is panicked. I just want Jerry to correct his mistake of hiring McCarthy. That's all.
I was their as well until the recent events laid bare the problems with AR. McCarthy was a victim of an organization and individual (AR) that wouldn't deal with the individual (AR). In Dallas, he may will be a victim of Jerruh in the end.............

hopefully yes, my thoughts also. Hopefully a revenge game for Quinn, Kazee, and Neal :)

needed a wake up call and an AFC team was better then an NFC team.,.the falcons are surging a bit so that should also get the coaches and players attention..

Could see this being the case. The Falcons are not a great running team, the Broncos had a one/two punch that we struggled with. Falcons do have that big play ability with Pitts and Patterson

I didn’t like the hire either. But this year he has coached this team up. Regardless of how people feel about Rodgers he hasn’t won crap without McCarthy.

The good old Rodgers is the reason McCarthy won a superbowl but yet Rodgers hadn't gotten to a superbowl without McCarthy, much less won it.

Other than Denver, McCarthy has had this team prepared and ready to play every team this season. The McCarthy hate is as bad as the Dak hate
Yeah and it’s odd especially for fans who had Garrett for 10 years.

The one he won't do is the one that he needs to do.

Fire McCarthy.
Dude we’re 6-2; I have a lot of questions on McCarthy myself, but firing him today does not improve this team.

And regardless of what we believe, firing a coach going 6-2 would be unheard of

I agree with the OP on everything except Atlanta being better than Denver. The Broncos' defense is a lot better; and the Falcons nearly blew a 24-6 lead against a Saints team led by Trevor Siemian.

In other words, this is another game the Cowboys "should" win. How they come back from being hit in the mouth for the first time all season will determine how far they go in 2021. It's safe to say this is the biggest game of the season so far given what happened yesterday.

Jerry fired a coach after winning a Super Bowl. Now THAT is unheard of.

Jerry cutting the weak link away would be the smart thing to do instead of letting another year (he's not getting any younger) waste away.

This.

Too many fans running for the hills lol… lots of football left to play. Lots of injured guys to return and help us out.

Parcells said you are what your record says you are by Thanksgiving. We could be 9-2 at best or 6-5 at worst.

This is a great opportunity for the team to dig down and respond to adversity and criticism. Sunday will be interesting for sure

Firing is probably too extreme but he probably deserves to be on the hot seat next year depending on what the boys do in the playoffs. Winning the nfc least only to get bounced in the first round again isn’t gonna cut it.

One thing I will say as far as that 4th and 2 passing up a 38 yarder with a kicker with a strong leg at some point you have to quit treating make able FG’s like garbage . You go up 3-0 early now let your defense go to work .

yeah gave them too much momentum missing two straight 4th downs, one by bad blocking, one by bad passing
