We would at least see the real Dak if there was some level of compeititon for the spot, and long term its what we need. Will Garrett allow it.....
There is a series of blog posts on a BTB thread by Fuzzylogic, 80% of the way down in comments on the following BTB article showing how Dak almost will not throw a guy open that the scheme tries to present to him........the pattern is by TWill, ............
https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/201...oys-jason-garrett-scott-linehan-rod-marinelli
---in todays NFL these are throws Dak has to learn to see developing and throw into the spot where TWill will be, he also has another with Dez later down....its like Dak doesnt trust the receivers, the scheme....or himself----and that is the fail of this teams offense this year.
I wish knew how to copy past the pertinent string of comments into this or a new thread here.......anyone....
In all the hours of practice, is this something the coaches have been unable to change?........or does Daks lack of accuracy enter into the equation ?
Yo brother, great link particularly to the comments sections. There is a breakdown of Garrett’s total record in those comment sections and it’s eye-popping.
This one really stood out;
Because of the 67 wins, only 12 of them have come against teams with a record above .500 on the season.
I posted a breakdown of the losses to winning teams in the new thread. 34 of the 55 losses on his career are to teams that ended their season above .500. That’s all that needs be said really. Of those 55 total losses (34 to winning teams), we were actually ahead in 21 of them at halftime. That clearly illustrates that we fail time and time again to make adjustments to maintain or build on leads, while our opponents have continued to adjust and beat us. And the majority of those games were against teams with winning records that find ways to adjust and win, while we find ways to lose by continuing to call the same plays after half-time.
