Next weekend - coaching decisions

We would at least see the real Dak if there was some level of compeititon for the spot, and long term its what we need. Will Garrett allow it.....

There is a series of blog posts on a BTB thread by Fuzzylogic, 80% of the way down in comments on the following BTB article showing how Dak almost will not throw a guy open that the scheme tries to present to him........the pattern is by TWill, ............
https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/201...oys-jason-garrett-scott-linehan-rod-marinelli
---in todays NFL these are throws Dak has to learn to see developing and throw into the spot where TWill will be, he also has another with Dez later down....its like Dak doesnt trust the receivers, the scheme....or himself----and that is the fail of this teams offense this year.
I wish knew how to copy past the pertinent string of comments into this or a new thread here.......anyone....

In all the hours of practice, is this something the coaches have been unable to change?........or does Daks lack of accuracy enter into the equation ?

Yo brother, great link particularly to the comments sections. There is a breakdown of Garrett’s total record in those comment sections and it’s eye-popping.

This one really stood out;

Because of the 67 wins, only 12 of them have come against teams with a record above .500 on the season.

I posted a breakdown of the losses to winning teams in the new thread. 34 of the 55 losses on his career are to teams that ended their season above .500. That’s all that needs be said really. Of those 55 total losses (34 to winning teams), we were actually ahead in 21 of them at halftime. That clearly illustrates that we fail time and time again to make adjustments to maintain or build on leads, while our opponents have continued to adjust and beat us. And the majority of those games were against teams with winning records that find ways to adjust and win, while we find ways to lose by continuing to call the same plays after half-time.

Black Friday will mean nothing for us even if changes are coming........Jerry will command total limelight...he ain't sharing the spotlight with anybody.

Just got to the comments you were referring to.. Dak is clearly bad and ** fault in those plays..

Hesitating and waiting too long which should be fit huge gains. Hardly WRs not getting open and Dak is making it easy.

That TWill example is a very telling proof of how bad Dak is right now..

Even on the Cole Beasley slant in the red zone where Dak went pass instead of run, Dak knew what his read was, Cole being his most probably first progression on the pass was and could have tossed it before he made the break, meaning simply anticipation. He’s slow on game day..

His pre-reads are awful and defenses are confusing him. The comments mention he’s motioning WRs our if the backfield as WRs on overload blitzes.. defenses can get him to check out by shows no pressure.. taking safe plays when he has an easy TD and big yardage..

Yup, he holding the ball thru the looks the scheme gives him....then after 4 seconds is reacting to predictable pressure

Stats showing her is near top in time holding the ball...believe in same thread

Hard to blame Linehan on that or even Garrett, who I hate. Can’t even blame slow Witten..

But the decision to go with Dak when last year, he was operating only primarily half the field, Linehan simplifying it, totally begs the question who made the decision to start Dak this year and let go of Romo so emphatically.

We're out. We've got one game left. Will the coaching team use the opportunity wisely or will it be wasted. Here's what needs to be done:

1. Rush has to start at QB. We need some data on him. He needs some meaningful reps. We have enough data on Dak.

2. Tyron needs to sit out the game - no point in risking injury.

3. Dan Bailey needs to go on IR. He's not right yet. Sign a rookie to get thru the game.

4. Jarwin Blake needs some reps - to see why we were forced to put him on the active roster to prevent others signing him.

5. Kevin Frazier starts at Safety.

6. Byron Jones moves back to corner - safety doesnt suit him.

7. Dez needs to be benched. Dont mind him starting and sitting after a series, but I want to see Noah Brown more.

8. Scandrick sits out. Let the rookies get more game time.

9. Taco starts.

10. Zeke gets 25 carries. Need him to go into the offseason with a good game. Need a running game to evaluate Rush correctly.

I'll save you the trouble
They will waste any and all opportunities because Garrett is an incompetent buffoon

I'm playing everybody and still hope they lose. This would send a strong message to the buying fans, and a strong message to Jerry Jones about our coaching staff. These boys get paid, let their *** work.

Cooper Rush is not a real NFL QB prospect you babies. He threw 55 picks in the Mid-American Conference, for crying out loud.

Also this is going to be a preseason game for the Eagles now that they've locked up the #1 seed. If he lights up the Eagles benchwarmers somehow it means less than nothing anyway.

With Jerry the cowboys Franchise is like sisyphus, nothing ever changes .

And that's is why I doubt we even get a glimpse of c.rush....heck don't doubt they activate k.Moore off of practice squad and play him 1st...tin foil hat is on lol

I would definitely take a big arm QB right now, even Winston in this offense because this offense really needs a gun-slinger. I’m not sure the ‘play it safe’ Dak, even if it buys us a playoff birth in a good season will take us very far.

Dak bypassed that tendency when he’s outside the pocket and ‘playing street ball’, but seeing the whole field, he’s just probably not the guy.

This isn’t like RG3 not even going thyough his progressions. He’s starkly different in that he goes through them, but is too scared to make the throw and make the pass when he needs too.

I mean who made this QB decision last year is just telling how dysfunctional it is.. I for the life of me can’t imagine Linehan doing it at least as far as open competition this year is concerned..

Of course this doesn’t absolve playcalling, because some of the concepts as the link you provided mentions are bad.

Most of these make sense. Which is why I expect the coaching staff to do the polar opposite.

Jerry should come down and cut Dez in the middle of the field.
If that's the case......he shouldn't just stop with Dez. And at that point.....nobody is coaching and not enough on the field, and everybody can be happy, especially the Eagles who can call it an Early Bye.

I would like to win a contest where a fan gets to be the GM for an hour and they let me go on the field to fire Dez...

I think we should also try to get Switzer involved in the passing game. We need to see just how many WRs we need to get in the offseason.

That would be good.....cause we'd all laugh while you past by several you missed. Don't forget to clap with JG and hug Linehan as you return to the sideline.

Missed?

Are you trying to say he's a Fly By Night QB and should Exit Stage Left?

When Garrett shakes my hand I would break his fingers...no more clapping.
