NFC East Champions

Man, it seems like it has been an eternity since I've been able to say that about my Boys. Looking back at the past few years, this sure does feel good.

And the best part is we did it on our own. We didn't need so and so to lose for us to make it, we did it ourselves.

And for all of you complainers out there ........... shut the **** up. Some of us want to savor this moment and drink in its delicious flavor.

Now...............lets get us some homefield advantage. :D

Yes the NFCE has offically returned to its rightful owner, It has been a long wait but it is over YEEEHAWWW!.

I'm not sure where the fans come from that think a team can always dominate, that rarely happens in the NFL. Witness the fact that there has only been 1 unbeaten team in all of NFL history. Maybe that will change to 2 teams this year maybe not, but when you think of all the great teams assembled over the years that should tell you all you need to know about the NFL.

Another issue is that some fans don't realize or have forgotten what it feels like to have a target on your back. When you are the Cowboys and you are winning you will always get everyones best game. The teams we are playing are emptying their playbooks at us, we are seeing them try things which are normally reserved for playoff situations. This team is learning all that from scratch as we have zero players to pass that experience down.

Being a older fan and having seen all of the Cowboys great teams and battles, I always looked at a win like yesterdays with relief and said, Hey that team gave it their best shot and although we didn't play our best we still won. Somehow to some fans that isn't enough, I honestly don't understand that logic if I did I would have to consider plays like "The Hail Mary" a moral victory for the Vikings because they out played the Cowboys on that day.

This team is still young and probably has a few more lessons to learn and perhaps is a player or two from being a great team, but its a very, very good team which fights its heart out and never gives up.

For me that is enough especially since this is such a young team and still has to learn what it means when every team you play considers it their personal Super Bowl.
