I don't go to other teams boards so I don't know what fans are saying about their teams. I know this board can be hard at times. Just wondering what the other teams in the NFC East OL's look like.

Do we have the worst OL in the NFC East?

The Commanders' is worse, the Eagles' is about the same, and the Giants' is better.

But our secondary and linebackers are better than the Giants.

With Peters the Eagles is better. But without, probably about the same.

I'm not sure about the Commanders, but the Giants OL has bigger issues. They were ranked 2nd to worst in the league last year (only Chicago was worse). They really haven't added much to correct that.

We won't know where our O-line stacks up until we play a few games.

Not really a prominent area of strength for any of these teams.

With a healthy Peters, I think I like the Eagles the most. In any case, it's tough to evaluate them because of the way Vick plays. Their interior linemen were, believe it or not, not really better than ours last year. They get good push but they were awful picking up run blitzes - McCoy took a lot of pretty big losses. They're excited about King Dunlap (I don't know why...), but Peters is one of the best. Pretty big loss.

New York's isn't very good either. I think they'll improve the most year-on-year by getting rid of McKenzie, who was an utter disaster. Inside, Diehl and Snee are OK - Snee isn't what he used to be. Baas is also just OK.

Washington is a confusing mess. They rotated through a ton of people last year (not too dissimilar from us). Trent Williams is a nice tackle, and the rest are journeyman system blockers. Little zone guys all around.

Here's where I'd put them...but it is a complete mess all around:

Pass Protection:
1. NYG
2. DAL
3. WAS
4. PHI (without Peters)

Run Blocking:
1. PHI
2. WAS
3. DAL
4. NYG

The Giants play a 4-3, Dallas plays a 3-4, so you would have to compare the Cowboys LBs to NY's DL.

Easily.

If you are in 4th and short for the game, our line will fail you more frequently than the others. It's not even close. There's a reason why we had 5 rushing TDs last year. You can't scheme your way around in those situations. The QB can't save you. It's all on the line to win their battles and create movement and we fail more than any OL in the league.

Tyron Smith and the 4 stiffs. Be sure to tip your waiter.

Even without Peters the Eagles still have the best O-line run blocking and pass protecting. Then Washington. Then New York and Dallas but it's very close to Washington and about the same as the Giants.
