NFC East Or AFC West?

Both divisions seem like mirror images of the other after nine games. If the regular season ended today, the Cowboys/Chiefs would be #1 seeds, Giants/Raiders #5 seeds and Broncos/Washington #6 seeds. Similarities break down after the top three, with the Eagles just on the outside looking in at #7 and the Chargers squatting at #13. The actual playoffs are down the road and things can still change along the way (heck that might happen as early as tonight's Giants/Bengals game concludes) but I wonder which division can claim to be the best overall at this point?

You're right. NFL.com had the Chiefs as the #1 seed with the Patriots at #2 earlier today but it has been updated since I first checked.
