If Romo misses a few games it's only a 1 team race. I don't think that will happen and it will be a shootout to the end between Filthy and us.

If Romo misses a few games it's still a 2 team race. Philly still has a lot of tough games left and they aren't really doing anything to show they can run away with it. We're still capable of winning games without Romo.

We kind of kept Washington afloat with that loss, and with Rg3 coming back it could give them some momentum

except in their last eight games, they will have to win three more than we do. If we beat them, then they would have to win three more of their seven other games than we do. Possible but not that likely. They have caught lightning in a bottle twice, 2005 and 2012 and run off long streaks but highly unlikely with their team this year.

Still a Cowboys-Eagles race. The Giants have a super-tough schedule; and the Commanders aren't for real just because they upset the Cowboys. Dallas' mistakes did them in more than anything the Commanders did.

Washington is really not that bad when you take away their turnover issues thus far. They're not great, but they're going to surprise more teams than just Dallas this year I bet.

Ultimately I think it probably is Philly's race to lose, unfortunately, but Dallas definitely can win it. I don't see NYG or WAS mounting a challenge this year.

By game 12, the team records will look like this:

1. 9-3
2. 7-5
3. 6-6
4. 5-7

Who will these teams be........

I agree with this. With our running game this year, the offense can still be good enough to win games with Weeden for few weeks.

No.

The Commanders are still a terrible football team. Maybe the Giants get into the race though.

Actually, until last night, Washington was top ten in both defense and offense, despite a ton of defensive injuries, extremely green CBs and terrible QB play. As it is, they're 7th and 11th in O and D, and 9th in sacks. They have a decent OL and explosive offensive skill players at all positions. If Griffin comes back, hits open receivers and takes care of the ball, the Skins are dangerous. They're better than the NYG by a long shot, IMHO. Their flaw is the running game. Morris is/was a product of Griffin as a threat in the read option. Without that, he's been average.

Having said all that, I think it's Dallas and Philly. But nothing surprises me anymore.

All true. They are dangerous esp if you can't control that blitz.

I still think it is between us and Philly and Washington and the Giants being spoilers.............................Washington would want nothing more than to beat us the last game of the regular season and either keep us from winning the division or going to the playoffs.

Yeah. That's the kind of game this Cowboys team is built for. Lets just hope Garrett and Linehan remember that. I think they had a collective memory lapse last night.
